Our range of professional and vintage equipment will ensure you experience a recording session that's full of creativity and high-end sound. From instruments, our extensive range of drum equipment, cabinets and amps, you'll be able to choose and experiment with all of this and more during your session, and its all included in the cost. The facility is really well laid out, with a range of vocal booths, main studio and drum room. Plus an additional rehearsal room. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional. Over the last 20+ years, Steve has made constant improvements to the studio and equipment as well as building up a substantial PA Hire service.

Piper Dawes

Producer / Studio Engineer

Piper, a seasoned music producer with twenty years experience in pop, ska, and reggae, is also an accomplished guitarist and mix engineer.

Abi Swift

Producer / Studio Assistant

As a recent Huddersfield University graduate in Popular Music, Abi is developing her production skills within a range of genres such as rock and metal, and electronic music.

Jack Pimperton

Studio Assistant

As a former placement student at the studio, Jack is currently studying his final year of Creative Music Production at Huddersfield University, whilst continuing to work with us in our live sound and studio sessions.

Joe Uryn

Studio Assistant

As an aspiring studio engineer specialising in rock and metal, Joe is our current placement student at the studio. He is currently studying Sound Engineering and Music Production at Huddersfield University.

Additional Services

As well as providing equipment repairs and PAT testing services, we also offer bespoke guitar setups and repairs by Gallo Guitars, and made-to-order cables.

Gallo Guitars

Our in-house guitar technician, Dan Gallo, has been building custom-built guitars since 2020, as well as supplying a guitar setup and repair service. Get in touch with him here.

Custom Cables

We can create made-to-order, custom cables of any variation, length and colour, using Van Damme cabling and top-grade connectors.

HOW TO FIND US

BY TRAIN

Vibrations Studios is conveniently located directly opposite Lockwood Station. Served by Northern Rail, it offers regular services to Huddersfield and Sheffield. From Huddersfield Station, it's a short train ride to Lockwood Station, making us easily accessible by train.

BY CAR

We're just off Manchester Road, and about 15 minutes from Junction 24 on the M62. Leeds and Bradford are approximately a 40-minute drive away, Sheffield and Manchester about 1 hour, and London roughly 4 hours. We also have free on-site parking.

BY BUS

The 387 bus route from Huddersfield Bus Station to Beaumont Park stops right outside our studio, as well as many Colne Valley services that stop just a short walk from us.
